Source pages checked

Previews open on CapCut, where you can check the original creator and current availability. Use your phone to continue into the template.

Names, creators and durations were checked on the linked CapCut pages. Required media slots, paid features and mobile import/export have not been tested. Confirm these in CapCut before preparing your clips.

From template to your own edit

  1. 01

    Match the original

Open a preview below. Compare the scenes and creator with the reel you saw. A similar name does not always mean the same template.

  2. 02

    Choose your media

On your phone, continue into CapCut and select Use template if available. Check the requested photos, clips and lengths before choosing your own media.

  3. 03

    Crop, preview, export

Keep your subject inside the frame. Review the cuts and sound, check any paid-feature prompts, then use CapCut’s export option to save your finished edit.

Link not opening
the right template?

Use your phone for the template handoff
CapCut’s external template switching flow is mobile-only. A desktop preview does not confirm that you can use that community template in the web editor.
Check the app and the original link
Update CapCut through your app store, then reopen the original template URL. Availability can vary by region and app version. Deleted templates may open a generic page instead.
Check whether it is a VN resource
Ray Edits also shares VN QR codes. Those need the VN editor rather than CapCut. Follow the app and resource named in the original post.

Make the source material yours

Need an original clip
for your edit?

Use SeedGen AI to create a vertical scene, download it, and add it to a CapCut template that accepts video. Keep the subject centered so you have room to crop.

  1. 1. Start with a 5-second, 9:16 lifestyle prompt.
  2. 2. Customize the scene and review the credit cost.
  3. 3. Generate your clip, then finish the edit in CapCut.

Opens the generator with a starter prompt. Generation requires an account and credits; nothing is generated when you click.

Read or copy the starter prompt

Create a 5-second vertical 9:16 cinematic lifestyle clip. An adult wearing a casual jacket walks along a quiet city street at golden hour, then turns toward the camera with a natural smile. Keep the subject centered with space above the head and below the shoulders for cropping. One continuous medium shot, gentle camera movement, warm natural light, realistic motion. No cuts, captions, logos, music or watermarks.

Open the video generator

AI creates source footage, not a CapCut project. Timing, transitions, captions and music are finished in your editor.

Vertical fashion example from our existing showcase. Community example; not a Ray Edits template or a result of the starter prompt. Original source (opens in a new tab).

Ray Edits template questions

What does “Ray Edits CapCut” refer to?

People use this search to find CapCut templates featured in Ray Edits resources and reels. It is not one universal effect. Some results instead refer to light-ray effects or unrelated creators named Ray, so compare the actual preview.

Are these templates free?

This guide and its source links are free to browse. CapCut controls template access, effects and export requirements. Check its current prompts before editing; we have not confirmed a free export for these templates. SeedGen AI generation uses credits shown in the generator.

How do I download my finished video?

Open the template in CapCut, replace the requested media, preview your edit and choose Export. The source reel is an example, not an editable project file. Check the export screen for resolution, watermark and payment options available to your account.

Is a VN QR code a CapCut template?

No. VN QR resources belong to the VN editor workflow. Use the app named by the original resource; a VN code cannot be imported as a CapCut template.

Will SeedGen AI recreate the entire template?

SeedGen AI can generate a new video clip for your edit. It does not import a CapCut template or reproduce its exact timing, transitions, captions or soundtrack. Finish those parts in CapCut and check whether the template accepts video clips.

Is this an official Ray Edits or CapCut page?

No. This is an independent guide by SeedGen AI. CapCut templates and source reels belong to their respective creators. SeedGen AI is not affiliated with Ray Edits or CapCut.
